Apple offered 'Personal Pickup' allowing new iPhone 5s customers to pickup from a local Apple Store. The service was removed just a day after but could be back as soon as Monday
After Apple's launch of the iPhone 5s last week, the company allowed customers who ordered the new flagship device the option of 'Personal Pickup'.
This meant users could grab their phone from a local Apple Store and have it personally set up for them.
The option was shortlived and was removed, without explanation, from Apple's online store and Apple Store app after just one day.
It has now been reported that two sources have said Apple's Personal Pickup option should return by Monday 30th September at the earliest.
Last week after just two days Apple ran out of their September stock on all models of the colours and capabilities of the iPhone 5s and shipping was estimated for October.

9to5mac reports that no comment was given from Apple as to why the feature was removed but the website speculates that this is due to 'a general lack of iPhone 5s supply and Apple's want to save as much iPhone 5s inventory for customers that walk into stores wanting to buy a new iPhone 5s."
